In this article givens discusses the strong theme of Provenance in the Book of Mormon and why it is important. He goes on to compare the Book of Mormon themes of revelation, Christology, Zion, and Scripture with their biblical counterparts to illustrate how the Book of Mormon treats well-established Christian themes in a radical way. Givens then goes on to discuss how these themes affect the historicity of the Book of Mormon.
