A review of the Mormon belief that human intelligence predated human existence, was contemporary with God, always was and always will be, and that therefore man is denied the customary Christian props of original sin and salvation by grace. This idea was not originally part of Mormon thought; it crept in gradually and has evolved. Covers this origin and evolution in main outline, including the purely 20th Century concept of the preexistence of individual intelligence.
