Biography
-
Charlotte Quist Bolinder was born December 18, 1867 to John Johnson Quist and Cristine Encleson in Asterplane Socken, Sweden. Her parents were converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints there, and at age twenty, she would have traveled to America, except for her fathers death. A year later, in 1888, she went with her mother, and they settled in Utah. Charlotte married John Erickson Bolinder in Logan Temple on October 29, 1890. They spent the rest of their lives in Grantsville and had eight children. Charlotte's husband died in 1922, and she was left a widow for twelve years, until her death on October 15, 1834.

Part of the J. Allen Parkinson collection, this is a one page typescript biography written on April 2, 1958. It is located in the second Hollinger box of the collection, in the eight folder, which is labeled, Biographies, Q-Ry. There are a few details, although the manuscript describes Charlotte's parents and their conversion. Charlotte was often sick as a youth, and consequently stayed at home for much of the time. The manuscript ends with her death.
