VMSS 355 fol. 179
Fine letter to the well-known publisher. ". . . I have written the enclosed 13 papers with the intent that they should appear simultaneously in various provincial newspapers. . . And then have the right of re-publication in a volume form. . ." As an alternative he offers them to Hotten and states that he has a second series in preparation. These probably never materialized as the author died the following year. The letter is signed "Cuthbert Bede" and "The Revd Edward Bradley."
