One of six copies. Inscribed in Henley: "Six private copies printed (on Japanese suede paper) for me. W. E. Henley. No. IV. Charles Baxter 19/7/89/." Baxter was an intimate friend of both Henley and Stevenson. Indeed, the latter dedicated "Catriona" and "Kidnapped" to him and he appears as Michael Finsbury in "The Wrong Box." He was Stevenson's executor and was on his way to Samoa when R.L.S. died. An unopened copy, printed on Japan vellum.
