Other serials that ran during this period were George Eliot's Romola; Trollope's Framley Parsonage, The Small House at Allington, The Claverings; Wilkie Collins' Armadale; Meredith's Adventures of Harry Richmond; and Hardy's Far from the Maddling Crowd. A good sturdy consecutive run.
