Privately printed. A pirated edition of the poems which Tennyson suppressed when publishing his poems of 1830 and 1833. The book was issued by J. Dykes Campbell in Canada. He informed Wise that about fifty copies were brought by him to London. Some of these were advertised for sale by John Camden Hotten against whom legal proceedings were instituted. Hotten paid a fine of £100 and delivered to the Court all unsold copies. A very fine unopened copy.
