Article is a brief history of 'The Woman's Exponent.' The format of the first issue is looked at. This format was more or less retained throughout the life of the paper. The author also looks at the paper's two editors, Louisa G. Richards and Emmeline B. Wells, and their influence and imprint on the paper. Paper was dedicated to building up women and proclaiming their worth and just claims.
