This article is a summary account of the voyage of the ship Brooklyn, which carried over 200 Saints from New York City to California in 1846. It is not highly interpretive, but gives some fascinating details regarding this very important group of Mormons who became part of the great westward migration of the Church. The appendix contains a list of the Brooklyn passengers.
