This article discusses intimate relationships between males in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, focusing on the specific example of Evan Stephens. Director of the Tabernacle Choir for many years, Stephens developed strong attachments to many young men with whom he invited to live and travel with him. While his writings leave ambiguous if any of these relationships were erotic in nature, there exists ample evidence to conclude that Stephens experienced homosexual feelings.
