A brief history of the Godbeite movement. Covers the period approximately 1861-69. Author sees the movement as more than just a protest against the economic policies of Brigham Young. He sees it as a spiritualist movement aimed at creating Mormon spiritualism, a hybrid of Mormonism and 19th century spiritualism.
