This is a biographical treatment of T. B. H. and Fanny Stenhouse and their role in the Godbeite revolt. Their work in behalf of the latter movement failed to 'enlist a substantial Utah audience,' but they did help 'to fashion throughout the United States and Great Britain the negative image of nineteenth century Mormonism.'
