This article discusses the history of systemic racism within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It describes the steps necessary to confront and begin to remedy the problem, including actively contradicting racist teachings from past leaders, incorporating statements and teachings on inclusivity in lesson manuals, and training teachers on how to respond when racist ideologies are expressed in church meetings.
