This chapter examines the racial narratives in the Book of Mormon, drawing conclusions based on the text itself as well as on attitudes and actions of early members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It considers the racial separation between the Nephites and Lamanites, the consequences of racial inequality, and the resulting implications for Amerindians today and in the future.
