This article discusses the water crisis in Utah through a historical lens, including the role played by Latter-day Saints in re-routing water to make the land conform to their places of settlement. It suggests that, while no easy solution to the water crisis can be found, examining the history of water in Utah will cast light on how to make good decisions in the future.
