"This chapter examines three of the many themes that emerge from Sidney and Phebe Rigdon's revelatory writings: ecclesiology, the establishment of Zion, and expansions of Latter Day Saint scriptural narrative. In each case, the Rigdons demonstrate their ability to creatively build upon doctrines and institutions established under Joseph Smith. These and other topics addressed in the Book of Revelations were clearly built on the prophetic writings of Joseph Smith, though they also reverberated in new directions." [Author]
