This dissertation addresses the need for well-trained teachers in Church settings, including but not limited to Sunday school and other formal meetings. It claims that, because of its many examples of powerful teachers, the Book of Mormon is a valuable resource in training teachers in the Church. In order to support this claim, this dissertation explores the character, development, and strategies of successful teachers in the Book of Mormon and gives suggestions on how teachers today can apply the same principles.
