In this article, Hugh Nibley explores evidence for and against the inspired translation of the Book of Abraham. He acknowledges arguments against Joseph Smith's ability to translate Egyptian texts as well as scholarly translations that disagree with Joseph's. The article emphasizes that, regarding the translation of the Abrahamic text, there are many things we simply do not know.
