King Benjamin's Speech : "That Ye May Learn Wisdom"
-
Provo, UT
-
Brigham Young University Maxwell Institute
-
"Our objective [in compiling this volume of essays about King Benjamin's famous Book of Mormon speech] is to know as much as possible about Benjamin and the message, methods, and moment of his speech, and to participate in that event almost as if we were present to hear and understand the words which he spoke. Although we have tried to deal with our topics as well as possible, we know that our modest effort leaves much more to be said about Benjamin’s speech. We fully expect a classic text of its order to wear us out long before we will wear it out. We hope that each reader will appreciate and enjoy the rich blessings that can be claimed through further study of Benjamin’s scripture." [Editors]
