In a three way race for Utah's senate seat, Incumbent Arthur V. Watkins, Governor J. Bracken Lee, and attorney Frank E. Moss ran for what ended up being a close run race, with Democratic candidate, Moss, being the victor in what was claimed as a shocking result to those in Utah. This dissertation outlines the the months leading up to the voting and how the Democratic party came together in order overthrow the Republican lead majority.
