This article outlines the effects of the Great War (World War I) on immigrants, specifically in the state of Utah. Utah hit peak immigration patterns with the arrival of LAtter-day Saint pioneers into the valley, with the religion attracting many from Europe. However, some decades after their arrival the United States plunged into World War I, leaving many immigrants in the state of Utah on the front lines for the U.S., this article outlines which nationalitites were most effected by this war and their comminity roles post-war era.
