The article describes the nature of the JST in relation to the King James Version of the Bible. Two major points are considered: first, is the JST a new translation of the Bible or a restoration of the original text? (Arguments for both options are made.) Second, how do the leaders of the church think about how accurate the text of the Bible was before and when the JST was completed?
