"During the last week of July 1836, Joseph Smith, in company with Sidney Rigdon, Hyrum Smith, and Oliver cowdery, Left Kirtland, Ohio, to investigate the possibility of acquiring some kind of treasure reported to have been located in a house in Salem, Massachusetts."
