This paper examines how the Book of Moses set Mormon theology apart from the Protestant theology on the subjects of God, man, church, and canon. It describes how themes from the Book of Moses developed into Mormon doctrine, and suggests that the Book of Moses can be used as the starting point for the study of Mormon theology.
