November 26, 1884 to February 8, 1885. William Flake is sentenced to jail for polygamy. He briefly stays in the Prescott, Arizona prison then is taken to Yuma. Flake and J.N. Skousen arrive in Yuma and are processed. Flake spends most of his prison term doing manual labor, particularly with ore carts. He is visited by some church leaders. Flake is tried by Judge Howard.
