Royal Skousen reviews how William Tyndale translated the New Testament from Greek to English. He discusses how this translation influenced the King James Bible in its use of certain words such as repent, charity, or elder; but also discusses how they differ. Skousen then notes how these word choices are used in the Book of Mormon. He concludes that the Book of Mormon continues and adds commentary to the exegetical translation debate that started with Tyndale.
