This is the incomplete biography of the Reverend H. N. Hansen, starting in 1857. Hansen's family migrated from Denmark in 1863 with other Scandinavian Saints, and arrived in Utah in October of that same year. Hansen describes their travel by boat, train, and then wagon to Utah, noting that many died of contagious diseases. After arriving in Salt Lake, he traveled with his family to Vernon. He describes their difficulty in finding suitable labor and enough food for their family. The rest of his account in found in the Fall 1971 issue.
