'The Latter-day Saint restoration of the Gospel and Church of Christ exclusively provide for the universal and eternal salvation of humanity according to God's plan. Only those who embrace the exclusive fullness of the Latter-day Saint gospel and otherwise obedient to God's commandments will become exalted, god-like beings and attain eternal life in the celestial world as a part of the family of God and Christ. The Latter-day Saint religion, notwithstanding this exclusivity, recognizes that not everyone will convert to Mormonism; and those who do not implicitly will have additional opportunities to do so in worlds beyond mortal earthly existence. Although the highest degree of glory in heaven is reserved for obedient Latter-day Saints, all other godly people will receive some degree of heavenly glory and eternal life. This presumably will include at most all good people of other religions besides Mormonism. Only the very few individuals, the sons of perdition, who reject God and Christ as well as follow Lucifer, will be relegated to outer darkness (or hell). [From author's conclusion]
