This article examines the book "The Autobiography of Parley Parker Pratt," and looks in detail at Pratt's descriptions of polygamy and family. The author reviews Pratt's relationship with his first wife, Thankful Pratt, and his relationship with and separation from Mary Ann Frost Stearns.
