"In this paper, I examine the little-known towns and people associated with Livingston County, New York, that played a role in the early history of the Church. After discussing the geographical and historical setting of Livingston County, I address early missionary work and the organization of branches in the county. I conclude by discussing some of the most prominent members of the Church who hailed from this area along with their contributions to the building up of the Church in Ohio, Missouri,Illinois, and Utah."
