In this article Neilson provides a brief glimpse into the life of Andrew Jenson. He focuses particularly on his travels on behalf of the Church Historian's Office during which he visited every stake in North America, and then departed on a twenty-five month journey to visit every mission in the world. Neilson stresses Jenson's dedication to record keeping. Everywhere he went he taught the members proper procedures and gathered information with which he could write the history of the Church abroad. Jenson was eventually called as assistant church historian, and oversaw the standardization of record keeping within the church.
