Pauline Hancock was raised in the RLDS Church, but after her marriage she joined a group protesting some doctrine in the Church. After this group of disaffected RLDS members dissolved she joined the Temple Lot Church, and then finally formed her own organization, the Church of Christ (Bible and Book of Mormon Teachings). She ended up rejecting most restoration theology, but she still believed in the Book of Mormon. After her death, her followers eventually came to view the Book of Mormon as a false book and, lacking any distinct restoration doctrine, they disbanded in 1984.
