Examines how the daily lives of Mormons living in Chihuahua, Mexico, reflect their connection to the United States and the Mormon homeland. Mormons, who have resided in Chihuahua since the 1880's, have perpetuated their cultural identity through their unique self-reference, exhibited territoriality links in their built environment, and demonstrated unconditional bonding to their homeland through certain holiday celebrations. The Anglo-Mormon experience illustrates that the homeland concept deserves a place within the geographical lexicon.
