December 11, 1902 to January 13, 1905. Calder chronicles his mission to Great Britain. He visits members, goes tracting, and teaches at church. He notes the beliefs of investigators, encountering Spiritualists and socialists most frequently. Early into his mission, he is summoned to Liverpool to care for his sick brother. When his brother recovers, the two of them tour London before Calder sees his brother off for America. He returns to Burnley, where he preaches in the street for the first time. He becomes the clerk for his branch and gives a speech on Mormon Economy to labor unions. Calder records Christmas celebrations, baptisms, confirmations, and his daily schedule. He moves to Barrow, where he tours the English Lake District. Calder leaves Barrow and tours the continent (not included). He returns to England and carries on with his missionary work as usual. He preps those leaving for Utah as to what to expect and visits with relatives. In the final entries, Calder is preparing to tour Scotland.
