This book, a companion to his 1977 biography, details President Kimball's presidency from 1973-1985. Most of the chapters focus on President Kimball's role in guiding the expanding church through significant developments, including: "The revelation that allowed all worthy male members to receive the priesthood; the organization of the First Quorum of the Seventy; the holding of sixty area conferences throughout the world; opposition to the Equal Rights Amendment and installation of the MX missile system; a notable increase in the Church's worldwide missionary effort; a burst of temple building; the beginnings of satellite transmission to gathered Saints around the world."
