Does not deal in detail with Brigham Young, but with United Order. This is really a continuation of Huff's Joseph Smith's United Order. The two were conceived asa singly project but were later separated because of the sheer size of the project. In preface, Huff states that it is recommended that the other book be read first or consulted along with this one, lest some aspects of this book seem incomplete or insufficiently supported or explained. This is a huge book (647 pages) and Huff declares in the preface that 'This is a book of theory, much more than a historicall time-sequenced work...RAther than being oriented to historical events and outcomes, this book is an attempt at intellecutla history -- getting at the thoughts, plans, reasoning and intentions of thsoe involved.
