Pixton has identified about 61 (or 25%) of the 207 passengers aboard the Tyrian, through journal acccounts. This ship sailed from Liverpool to New Orleans in September 1841 with Nauvoo being the intended final destination. An appendix at the end of this article lists all the names he has found. He also uses excerpts from the journals to describe the journey.
