A historical and literary analysis of fiction and Mormon perceptions of this literary style. This thesis focuses on the negative exposure fictional works received by the Mormon community in the 20th-Century and how these perceptions shifted as the Mormon community accepted fictional works and how fiction authors within the Mormon community rose to prominence.
