This thesis traces the first 20 years of missionary work in Finland (1947-1969). It examines the leadership styles of the Mission Presidents (John D. Warner (1958-1961), Phileon B. Robinson, Jr. (1954-1958), Henry A. Matis (1947-1954), Mark E. Anderson (1961-1964), J. Malcolm Asplund (1964-1966), and Udell E. Poulsen (1966-1969) and relates their styles to the growth of the church in Finland.
