The Mormons have an interesting history in Mexico which has received attention from Latter-day Saint (LDS) scholars for years. However, the history as written ignores many of the more salient examples of Mormon history that integrate the Mormon experience into Mexican history. This dissertation addresses that problem as the first work centered on the Mormons based largely upon Mexican archival sources.
