Sara Alexander (1839-1926) was a nationally renowned actress who began her career in the 1860s in Salt Lake City. A favorite of Brigham Young, she lived for awhile in the Lion House where she was a dancing instructor for Pres. Young's daughters. It is surmised that she never married after having seen the unhappy marriage of her sister.
