British postgraduate musicology

British Postgraduate Musicology is an independent peer-reviewed musicological journal run by postgraduates for postgraduates. Under its title it aims to display the quality and diversity of scholarly studies produced primarily (but not exclusively) by postgraduate or recent postdoctoral students of music in the United Kingdom. Contributions are invited on any topic within the spheres of historical, analytical, critical or ethno – musicology. There is a short section for reviews, reports and notices particularly pertinent to postgraduate researchers. (from the website)

Includes articles on any topic within the spheres of historical, analytical, critical or ethno-musicology from 2001-2011, written and edited by postgraduates of any university. There are also options to order the printed issues from 1997 and 1999.

The homepage of the journal’s website includes an informational guide to what the journal is and its goals. On the top left side of the page, there are navigational tabs: About BPM, with additional, logistical information about the website, Announcements, Current Volume, Back Issues, which are ordered chronologically, Contribute, Contact and Board.
Each issue features several articles with the name of the author on the right and the title of their article as the link to its PDF on the right. -
The most recent issue is from 2011 (as of June 21, 2019). There are several gaps in publication where there is no issue for a year.
