Subtitled music, theatre and salons, weekly (appears on the 7th, 15th, 22nd and 30th of each month), in eight page numbers. It contains chronicles, critics and current news of premieres, season openings, concerts and musical activity in theatres in Madrid, provinces and abroad, as well as information on musical societies and associations. It also contains articles on artists, composers and their works, literary creation texts and the last page is dedicated to advertisements. During the first year its editor and director was Elías P. Ferrer, who was replaced in 1867 by Vicente Cuenca, who had been one of its main collaborators. Also appearing are the signatures of, among others, Luis Roger, Manuel Climent, Oscar Camps y Soler, Juan Pedro Pérez, F. Calvo y Teruel and M. de Acorta.
