L.D.S. University started as Salt Lake Academy from 1886; L.D.S. College 1899; L.D.S. University 1901; L.D.S. High School 1906; L.D.S. University 1911; L.D.S. College 1927. L.D.S. Business College was formed in 1931 after the college was dropped and the high school discontinued turning the system over to the state.
