Riggs writes about his life as a Mormon in Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, and Utah. He tells about his experiences as a pioneer who came to Utah in 1851; his life in Provo, Utah; and his occupation as a physician. The account books relate to his work as a medical doctor.
