Materials include a two-part letter, dated October 7, 1835, to Sally Phelps and Margaret Corrill, from William Wines Phelps and John Corrill, respectively. Part of the letter mentions gossip from Kirtland such as Sister Stout being with child through adultery with John J. Tanner. The rest of the letter is missing. The other part says that members in Kirtland have heard the news of sicknesses in Missouri, they inquire about their families' well-being and promise to pray for them. Dated 1835.
