Casey grew\rup in a small town with about a hundred residents, Murtaugh, Idaho. Burley is a town of around ten-thousand residents. It is about twenty miles away from Murtaugh and serves as a hub for all the other small surrounding towns. This story was told to me over the phone by Casey. He had told me the story many times before, but offered to tell it again so I could write it down. He does not remember where he heard the story, but it is a common tale among the residents of Burley.

Burley is situated in the Magic Valley in Idaho. It is known to be a particularly windy area. Jokes are often made about the seemingly constant wind around Burley. This particular area was settled by Mormon pioneers as they travelled West and are often credited with the origin of many names and traditions in\rSouthern Idaho.
